The 3196 engine shown is used in the Caterpillar 3065 BL Hydraulic Excavator. The finish is Semi-show with Dupont Chroma Premiere base/clear. Fasteners, fittings, camshaft, gears, and other components are chrome plated. The engine stand has a laminate base plate and a carpet/laminate clamshell base cover with engine identification.
