The transmission shown is used in the Caterpillar Challenger 65E, 75E, and 95E tractors. The finish is full show. The exterior is DuPont Chroma Premier. All the gears, clutch pressure plates, shafts, yokes, and other components are chrome plated.

The transmission is mounted on a single post base with casters.

The steel base has a laminate cover plate. A carpeted clamshell type base cover fits over the laminate plate to complete the display. This cutaway transmission is on permanent display at the Caterpillar Agricultural Product Visitor Center in DeKalb Illinois.
