The transmission cutaway was designed to show all internal components and the simple design of the '57 four-speed. Both sides of the housing are cutaway. The shafts, gears, and other components were polished and chrome plated. The paint is DuPont Chroma Premier base/clear. The exterior is silver, interior is white, components have dark silver accents, and the cut surfaces are blue.

The '57 four-speed is mounted on a single post stand and is currently on display at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green KY.
