The ECM tower was developed for a client's engineering department that needed to provide quick access to a large group of electronic control modules for developing software. The tower was designed to hold 24 electronic control modules and have up to 12 remote stations. From any remote station, an engineer can access and power up any one of the 24 modules. The system provides from 6 to 16 connections (circuits) between the remote station and the control module. Although most of the control modules have many more circuits, this number provides the ability to power up the module and communicate with is for the purpose of down loading programs to the module or reading information front the module.
